Andrew Lefkowitz began his career as an associate at Jones Day in Los Angeles. He spent five years at the firm as a securities law professional. He relocated to Miami in 1986 and worked as a partner with Broad and Cassel, a role that involved extensive work on matters of business law, followed by time as a partner at Shea and Gould. In 1998, Andrew Lefkowitz joined Cleveland’s Ganeden Biotech as the company’s chief executive officer. He spent nearly two decades with the organization, launching hundreds of food and beverage projects in 65 countries and placing products in more than 60,000 American stores. He also negotiated the company’s sale to Kerry Group at 24 times the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization value. He subsequently spent over six years as the chief executive officer of a Cleveland-based biosurfactant company. He was a co-inventor on 11 patent applications and oversaw the filing of more than 1,000 patents in total. His other achievements included equity raises exceeding $100 million and an unsecured debt raise exceeding $10 million.
Mr. Lefkowitz studied accounting as an undergraduate at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He continued his education at Case Western Reserve University, graduating with his juris doctor. While a student, he contributed to the Case Western Reserve Law Review.
